| If your microwave is smelling less than fresh and has splatters of food baked on then try this handy tip, take a grapefruit (lemon and orange work too) and chop it in half, pop half in a bowl or mug and cover with water then zap in the microwave for 3 mins or so (depending on how powerful your mico is) then leave to stand for a few minutes. The steam will loosen any dirt (even the really stubborn bits!) and it will wipe clean with kitchen roll or a cloth, it smells lovely and grapefruit is antiseptic, disinfectant and antifungal to boot! No harsh chemicals needed | |
