What is your preference? For ritual and spell work I use home made loose incense but for everyday use I tend to go for ready made sticks or cones, I use lots of incense lol I just love the scents and the atmosphere it creates, it is messy especially the loose stuff on charcoal blocks but I think its worth it!

Loose all the way, especially in ritual as it is more atmospheric and really sets the scene. I do use ready made incense on occasion but I prefer to experiment and make my own combinations to get the smell just right.
